Kingswood 2012

We all arrived safely and the weather is beautiful - so far but rain is forecast for later on in the week.

We are in rooms of four children - not much room so we have to be organised.  We did scrapheap challenge last night and our first session of MissionMaker.
Fire drill!

We have a fair bit of 'downtime' yesterday - time with no planned activities so we could sort out our rooms etc.  We then went to play on the big field and in the woods and we climbed trees, found an old rope and had an impromptu tug of war - boys v girls with other schools watching on enviously.  Ben and Daniel have hidden the rope for later use!
We weren't very high - really!

Our football got stuck in a tree so someone went to get a 'branch' to get the ball down - here is the branch they came back with!  It did the trick despite needing nearly of all to hold it up!

Our 'branch'!

We played on our DS's before finally getting to sleeping at midnight.

Tomorrow we have our river environmental study - Finding Fin on the River Don and then Jacob's Ladder and Mission Maker 2.  Evening activities are the Mini Olympics!
