Celebrations 24.3.2017

As well as it being Red Nose Day we also had a lot of individuals to celebrate!

Carise Y3 for excellent maths work including her presentation and extension challenge; Holly Y4, Annie Y4 and Lexi Y4 - all for super maths work.

Eva Y2 and Ryan Y1 - both for excellent writing in RE.  Love those boots Eva!

Class 3 parents' evening monitors.  Fabulous job done by everyone and we couldn't run it so smoothly without you!  This is despite you demolishing all the biscuits in the staff room!!!!

So Proud of everyone!

Red Nose Day 2017

I challenged the Y6's to do the Red Nose day assembly this morning.  They took 2 afternoons to practise and had no help at all from teachers.  They came up with a fabulous assembly - very thoughtful and informative but also full of fun!  Brilliant everyone!
The whole school dressed in non-uniform but they had to wear something red.
Thanks Joshua for lending me your deli-boppers!

Isabelle, Lily, Hollie and Tilly - having a giggle before they started!

Boys (behind the cardboard) working on their puppet show!

Class 2 waiting for the start of the assembly - Daniel Y4 was a sea of calm in the midst of the excitement.

Pep Talk!

Elise and Matthew telling us what Red Nose Day is all about

James and Alex (Y5) - great specs Alex!

Y6's finishing the assembly.
It was excellent and everyone enjoyed it.  Thanks for your hard work!

Celebrations 3.3.17

Another busy week - Swim Gala, Book Day as well as all our usual school clubs - sports clubs, recorder clubs, gym club and art club.  I'm proud that we do such a lot for a very small school!

Tessa Y2 for excellent bookday writing about her book 'Mallory Towers' (one of my favourites when I was a child!) and Megan Jackson (YR) for super maths work.

Mathilda (Y4) for great progress on the recorder, Toby (Y3) for super handwriting - his best ever! and Brooke (Y3) for great instruction writing based on the pizzas they made and I judged but didn't get to taste:(

Another first for the first time!  We came first in the Grantham Schools' B swim gala.

23 children took part from Y3 through to Y6.

Jasper and Hannah (Y6) showing off our trophy - another one for the cabinet!
Thank you to the parents who helped with transport - your help is invaluable and we couldn't do it without this support.
