SCORE Celebration

We have been involved in the SCORE programme this year - trying to save energy consumption throughout the school.  We achieved a small saving - need to work harder!

Our SCORE ambassadors - Leon, Vincent, Serena and Sophie along with ambassadors from other schools.

Our ambassadors with the SCORE leader from Lincs CC and the LCC Counsellor promoting the scheme.

Children In Need Day

This is one of our big events of the year!  We all came to school in our pyjamas and there were some fabulous onesies!

We laid a copper trail throughout all the corridors and the hall - it stretched much further this year than it ever has before!

Class 2 did a Children in Need street dance to the Gareth Malone song and they performed it in assembly.

We had a lovely assembly discussing what Children In Need is all about - our children
were very knowledgeable about it.

The street dance had been part of class 2's PE sessions this term and here are some photos of them practising.  Note Mrs Richardson, Mrs Chadwick and Miss Rowe!

We raised £148 for Children in Need!

Certificate winners 5.12.2014

Here are our certificate winners this week!

Reuben - Year 4 - for his interesting daily news which is always full of wry humour!  We read them at staff meeting this week and we all had a good giggle:))

Isabella and Serena - Y6 - for stepping up into the part of 'Orph' when Sophie was ill.  They knew all the words and songs even thought it's not their part in the Christmas play!

Lucy - Y2 - for her progress on the recorder and for practising a lot - in the car on the way to school says her grandma!

Hollie-May - Y4 - for doing two maths lessons in one and for really starting to work hard and be enthusiastic about her learning!

Theo - Y1 - for  great joined up writing!

Abigail - Y1 - for quick addition and subtraction!

Eliza - YR - (who is only 4) for her excellent research about Isaac Mewton (her words!) and her good general knowledge - keep it up Eliza!

Class 3 for an excellent performance at the Priory Ruskin massed choir event.

Mrs Rossington (deputy head at Priory Ruskin) wrote:
