Certificate and Raffle Ticket winners 14.12.2012

Our 'special bear certificate' awards this week went to Elsie Lawes, Sasha Bravo and Mathilda Carley.  They are all in reception year and the certificates were awarded for good listening and having a good work ethic.  They could explain to me what having a good work ethic meant!  Not bad for a 4 or 5 year old!!!

Our raffle ticket winners for the last two weeks were Tommy Elce (Y6), Leon Mapletoft (Y4), Chloe Tyler (Y5), Lily Howgill (Y2), Ellen Corston (Y2) and Lydia Walker-Smith (Y1).  The majority received their raffle tickets for either being excellent role models to other children or for being great helpers!  In a small school we really need good helpers!!!

Contentment!!!

I had to share this with you as it really made me smile!  Harry a child in reception was sat on a hedgehog bean bag reading a Christmas story book.  He was enthralled and was an oasis of calm amongst the other children!

Thank you Harry for making Mrs Padgett and me smile!!!

Children In Need Day - Football practice!

A fabulous day was had by all of us!  Please see Mrs Chadwick's class 3 blog for full information.

Our year 5 and 6 boys have been practising hrd for their recent football tournament and just to show that we take it very seriously they even wanted to practise in their PJs!

I did make them take their slippers off and put their trainers on!
