Children in Need

Fabulous day today!

We have been working with Asda i healthy eating and baking in Class 1 (see Class 1's great blog) and Pudsey from Asda came to visit us today!

Joseph (Y6) did some baking with his grandma and we had 2 pudsey cakes which we ate in the afternoon in Class 3 and Class 2 - lovely cake and great idea Joseph!

Some of class 3 mobbing Pudsey!

We tried to dress in yellow to match Pudsey - Joseph, Riley and Luke!

Even some of the staff were overwhelmed by Pudsey - Mrs Chadwick, Mrs Richardson, Mrs Ballaam and Mrs Padgett

In all the fun we didn't forget what the day was about and we raised over £250 for Children In Need - not bad for a school with only 81 pupils!

Thank you parents for supporting us in this!

New House Captains

Our new house captains were appointed this week.  The prospective captains had to prepare a presentation to the whole school about why they should be chosen and then everyone in the school voted for their favourite person.

We are having revamp of the houses this year and have decided to call them after birds.  The new House Captains first job is to speak to everyone in their houses about which bird should represent them.  More news on this later!

Our new House Captains - Holly, Darcy, Joseph and Jacob

The House Captains with their vice captains - Tyler, Adam and Casper.
