The photos were so beautiful I had to share more!  Thanks Mrs Barnes for being our official photographer!

Me with Elspeth and Dean who read the rededication

Y6 Tilly and Ellen - you are never too old to enjoy!

Some of class 2 - Annie, Mathilda, Orla and Millie-June

More class 2 - Tasha, Harry, India and Lexi

And yet more class 2 - Toby, Brooke
and Benji - I wonder what they are thinking?

Rory, Matthew, Elise, Ellen and Isabelle (all Y6) around the school's contribution to the Christmas Tree Festival in the church - all decorations hand made by the children and organised by Mrs Ballaam.  Thank you all for your hard work!

Magic!

Class 2 - Harry, Daniel, Josef and Sasha.

Thank you everyone for helping - the Y6's for lighting the candles, the readers for doing their job so well despite having almost no notice or practice, the parents and teaching assistants for helping us to make the Christingles and most of all Mrs Clarke for being the Christingle leader!

Christmas Jumper Day and Christingle

Everyone dressed in a Christmas jumper and our Christingle was very colourful!  Mrs M doesn't like dressing up but really enjoyed taking part - no more Baa Humbug from me!!

We took a whole school jumper photo

The Christingle service is very magical (although a bit chaotic!)
Our singing was wonderful as always!.

Celebrations 9.12.16

As part of our celebrations assemblies I am telling the Christmas story from the point of view of the people in the story.  So far the stories of Mary, Angel Gabriel and a normal angel have been told.  The children are really enjoying this different way of telling the Christmas Story.  We are also lighting our Advent Wreath - reverend Lilian visited us on Wednesday to tell us what it all meant.

Daniel Y2 for increased concentration and progress in reading comprehension and writing.  Great Daniel - keep it up!  Jack Y1 for improved reading comprehension and writing and a super retelling of Mog's Calamity Christmas!  You showed this to me Jack and got a Headteacher sticker for it because it was so good!

Our volleyball team - they achieved great results.  Brilliant everyone!
