Harvest Festival

We had a very special harvest festival on Friday morning.  Special because the children were so involved and so part of it.  Very little teacher direction at all.

Presentation of Harvest Gifts - so much to give!

Revd Lilian and Church warden Caroline posing in front of the gifts!
For a very small school we excelled in our giving - Thank you parents!

Class 1 - Cauliflowers are fluffy and cabbages green.  Brilliant to see everyone involved and singing and the headdresses were so imaginative!

Class 2 - A story to make you think Stone Soup.  It was all about sharing.

The tree was Zack - see him peering around it!
Thanks Mrs Bawden for your brilliant artwork, it really helped out story/drama.

Joy at singing our class 2 song

More Stone Soup!

Class told the creation story through drama...

... they also wrote their own 'Colour Harvest'

Narrators - being serious and looking at their scripts.

We had a church full of parents and grand-parents and the produce donated was amazing.

Thank you everyone!

Our best ever netball team!  We are now in league one and I am so proud of this achievement - no pressure guys but in Spring we need to win!
