Celebrations 20.11.2015

We had a bit of a different celebrations assembly today!

All year 4 children attended a day on cheer leading at Priory Ruskin last week and they were very keen to show everyone else what they had been doing.

Showing their stunts - needed adult help for safety

Arthur - higher than anyone!

Posing for the photo!
The Y3's can't wait until next year when they get to go!

Brooke, Carise, Ellen, Abigail, Harry, Annie and Mathilda - showing their gymnastics certificates and badges

Gracie, Maddie, Sasha and Joshua - all for great improvements in test results - spelling and the 4 operations test

Jacob - for achieving Violin grade 1 and Lily for a great improvement in her maths

Caitlyn, Tasha, Wilfy and Theo.  Wilfy for being an excellent role model to the Racy Rays (reception children) and Caitlyn, Tasha and Theo for trying hard and completing all their work.

Children in Need

Fabulous day today!

We have been working with Asda i healthy eating and baking in Class 1 (see Class 1's great blog) and Pudsey from Asda came to visit us today!

Joseph (Y6) did some baking with his grandma and we had 2 pudsey cakes which we ate in the afternoon in Class 3 and Class 2 - lovely cake and great idea Joseph!

Some of class 3 mobbing Pudsey!

We tried to dress in yellow to match Pudsey - Joseph, Riley and Luke!

Even some of the staff were overwhelmed by Pudsey - Mrs Chadwick, Mrs Richardson, Mrs Ballaam and Mrs Padgett

In all the fun we didn't forget what the day was about and we raised over £250 for Children In Need - not bad for a school with only 81 pupils!

Thank you parents for supporting us in this!

Remembrance Day

We had a very mixed day on Wednesday - excitement as the whole school took part in Remembrance Day paper making and reverential during our collective worship in which we paid service to everyone who has died or become injured so that we can be free and live in peace.

Please see class blogs about the paper making.
