Certificate winners 25.9.2015

At our celebrations assembly this week the following certificates were awarded:

Joshua and Tom from Reception - it seems like they have been part of our school forever!  Joshua for never giving up and always wanting to do things correctly, even down to asking for advice as to how to hold his pencil - a future star!  Tom for always being kind and caring - another one to look out for when in Year 6!

Tyler (Y6) and Luke (Y5).
Tyler - for work above and beyond done at home in Maths - fabulous Tyler, keep it up!!!!
Luke for being enthusiastic and participating in all English lessons!  We miss you for this in Class 2 Luke!

Mathilda (Y3), Sophie (Y4) and Elspeth (Y2)
Mathilda for being a great classroom helper - it makes our job so much easier so thank you Mathilda!
Sophie and Elspeth for excellent writing in Big Write.  I read both their stories and they were brilliant - hence the Headteacher stickers!

We have all settled into routines and expectations now and the school is an exciting place to be!  Thank you everyone - parents, children and staff!

Bikeability Year 5

Children in Y5 took part in Bikeability this week.  They got very wet on Monday!  All passed level 1 and the majority passed level 2.  Well done even if you didn't pass - it takes a lot of courage to go out onto the roads on your bike!
