We raised £130 this year for Children In Need. We would like to say a HUGE thank you for all of your kind donations. The children had a blast and the School Faith Council did a superb job organising the events.

Welcome back everyone!
I haven't blogged in a while but will start again and a text will be sent to tell you when anything is blogged.
Our first celebrations assembly at the end of an excellent start to the week! The new reception children came into our assembly (we normally don't include them for a couple of weeks) and they were perfect! They really rose to the challenge of being in such a big new environment - fabulous!!!

Celebrations 19.1.2018
Annie Y5 - for achieving her gymnastics 3 badge!
2 more to go before you've got them all Annie - excellent!
Our Y6 'BISI' badminton team. They learnt all the badminton skills and were ranked first! Please see the Sports Blog for more details.
Katelyn, Alice, Maddie, James and Alex.
Our 'GoalBall' team - a type of ball game for those with impaired vision. None of the children have impaired vision but we take part so we can experience what it would be like if we had.
We won a silver medal - second to an extremely large Grantham primary school
so in our opinion we actually came first!
They will demonstrate to the school what GoalBall actually is in a couple of weeks and I will invite parents to watch.
Lyric Y2 - excellent maths work and his perseverance is paying off - fabulous!
Freddie and Rupert YR for brilliant topic work on animals. They could name top predators in our assembly - WOW!
Jack Y2 (at the back) for excellent handwriting work and keeping going to finish it!
Raffle Tickets winners - by winning they get to choose a reward from Mrs Marshall's Frog Box - full of goodies!
Lucy Y5 - for getting DoJo points in class 3, Wilfy Y2 and Orla Y4 for helping at lunchtime
Our assembly today was based on tomorrow being National Cheese Day and next week there being a National Pie Day. It was fun and we all had a laugh followed by beautiful hymn singing of 'The Bell of Creation'.
